Found You!

Hello all! I joined a quit smoking group about a year ago, chatted a bit, and then disappeared for a long time. As I am nearing my one year anniversary of quitting I was really wanting to check in with the group that helped me out in the beginning! I see some familiar names and topics so i do think i found you! I didn't stick around for long or have too much to say so i doubt anyone remembers me but it does feel good to be back! I am still fighting to say NOPE! It has gotten easier overall but there are still those moments, like this morning, that i feel like having a smoke would be so nice. I honestly didn't believe a year ago, that i'd be sitting here today still smoke free about to celebrate a 1 year anniversary! Big thanks to those that were there a year ago to talk me through the first days of quitting! Reaching this first year is motivating but also feels a little like starting over and that I might just need to seek out that same encouragement to keep on going to my year 2 anniversary!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
