It's a huge NOPE and I won't avoid smoking people just avoid ME SMOKING. Must say the Nortrilen does a lot in the non smoking process, it supports me not that I won't have to do a thing but I get some extra support. This is not planned I got Nortrilen as an antidepressivant and my pdoc didn't knew it also is helpfull for people who wanna quit smoking, but I knew.

2 dirty flies in 1 hit

But I still have to say NO to myself whenever I feel a craving or when I see my neighbor smoking

Ow ALMOST blew it. Was at my drunk neighbor and asked for a cig and she said no (luckily) we ended up in a fight. Her telling me not to bother her (while I've been there 3 years while she was ruining her life with alcohol) and that she only looks after herself.... she had one of those bad drunk days. Lukily I didn't get my fix and ended up crying at home, calling a friend... I was furious about my neighbor not taking responsibility and I was upset over how much I'm like my neighbor just avoiding the pain and looking for a fix. It was really a mirror moment.

Okay so tears dried and glad I didn't smoke. Learned one thing. I better avoid smoking people the first 1 or two weeks.

No need to say my neighbor can kiss her drunk ass. First day she came out of rehab she drank already.

#Lesson learned: avoid drunk / smoking people who step on your heart

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
