did you watch the video that Rain Forest put on here ? I had to switch it off lol .... and thankfully we don't have funnel webs in WA, that's one of the reasons we came here and not the east coast !

Not my favourite.

Australian Spiders. Drink neat vodka, spit and kill people. Scare the bejesus out of me.

Well done Sooooooz!

not only do they drink neat vodka, they can take the top off the bottle with their teeth !

Soozie well done, I can imagine the thoughts in your head while watching your daughter's eyes grow wider, had me laughing, I act all brave with spiders, can do the plastic bit and cardboard bit quite well, but see if they move and start waving their hairy little legs around (remind us of a kilt wearing scotsman lol)  I just throw the whole lot and scarper, we get huge big grass spiders in our house, normally the cats chase and eat them but these buggers bite!! The cats soon drop them then my feet are up on the chair trying to remain calm while all the while shouting SPIDER, x

Okay I am not gonna lie that would have left me parlyzed with fear and definately would not have saved it ......when my hubs was in the hospital having his stent placed (prior to my quit) there was a huge spider on my patio door....did not have anyone to get rid of it I was thinking ok how am i going to let the dogs out sooooooo I took some windex and sprayed it which stunned the spider and it landed on the deck then ran out the front door around back and then stomped on it (hate spiders cant help it) if it stayed away from my house it would have been ok but it got too close......now we have saved salmanders, frogs, crow in basement from our house but that spider had to go.....I dont kill everything daddy long legs do not bother me much justthe bigger furrier jumpier spiders......sorry for the spider death scene but it happened.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
