Just took spanikopita out of the oven and put in a batch of sausage rolls.... waiting on the yellow layer of jelly to set so I can pop on the blue layer.... waiting on a batch or raspbery truffles and a batch of peppermint truffles to firm up so I can roll and coat them.... have an engagement party for a friends kid tomorrow... well I might go but her son is coming to pick us up and if i can make it he will just take the food and the kid and then bring her back later.

Still to make.... Coleslaw (already made the mayo dressing so will take me 5 mins to dress it and pop it in bowls.... easy peasy, might even get the kid to do it.

Still have 2 batches of sausage rolls to cook.

Have to do Cherry Ripe Rum Balls

Have to do Choc Caramel Death balls

Good thing I am on a hyper atm .....

putting up with a puppy who is having a tantrum because he isn't allowed to taste the things in the kitchen.... I need a frick baby safety gate to keep them out of the kitchen and they can all jump the thing but so far none have tried that... Sarge just charges and head butts it until it collapses.... can't be outside because neighbours are partying and they were going spastic.... just waiting for the music to stop... although if its an eclipse party they'll but there all night.

Just found this link so you can see what time is best to check out the moon depending on where you live in the world.... unfortunatley the North American's miss out on it completely and Japan only gets the start..

Soooo I'm sitting here thinking about our once in a century lunar eclipse and how thankful I am that the planets all aligned and picked me to be on this wee twirling ball at this time to see the blood moon in all its glory....

And how fantastic it was, and I didn't want to keep it to myself so I will share my picture with you lucky peeps... it was taken at the pinnacle of the eclipse....!!!!

Been enhancing my machismo today.

Yep, been to the theatre to see Strictly Ballroom. ?

I'm pretty sure the cast wouldn't have got away with their Aussie accents had it been playing down under.

Were there Aussies there??  Did we win??? @Wee fluffy me huh????  Did Ireland row???

Listening to my Saintas break my heart.... what would it take them to play a full 4 quarters of footy... frickin ridiculous.... its like U12 kids playing .... how the hell can they let someone take 30sec to kick and not man up in defence resulting yet another frickin goal..... every game this weekend 3 point or 4 point difference... my club, nah they just get their ar5es handed to them on a silver platter....

Going to have an rant

Heading out to the Sat. morning farmer's market to get some fresh veggies & spuds. Love this time of year when you can get freshly grown & picked stuff. Probably do up a nice BBQ tonight and "Pig Out" so to speak :) Going to be the last weekend for awhile where I'll be able to just relax so might as well take advantage of it. Weather's fine too with the humidex hitting around 40C and no rain in the forecast.
