Feeling good about life.

Just wrapped up the work week.  Looking ahead to a three-day weekend, spending time on the river with family and friends.

And just got off the phone with the better-half.  She asked: "do you want to grill bacon wrapped sea scallops tonight?"  There will never come a day when the answer to that question is "no."

Have a good one folks.

Shine on me sunshine, skip to me world, it's a zippy-da-doo-dah day...I'm the happiest boy, in the whole U.S.A.

Looking at the weather radar.

That big storm they warned us was rolling in this afternoon has turned out to be little more than a light drizzle.

I think the damage is going to be minimal...

Yes Elsa was not a big deal here the other day, either. When it came up the coast we were at the Jersey shore. We did have a nice thunderstorm, which J enjoyed. We don’t really have those in CA. Very rare, there. Enjoyed the Wimbledon men’s final! A threepeat for Novak Djokovic!  I love to watch the men play…. Go figure!😂

Me too! 😋

I love Pro Tennis! The women’s doubles was cool yesterday, especially since The team I favored won. Good match. I never doubted Novak would beat the very handsome, but inexperienced Italian guy.

Actually,  I knew what you meant. For me, it’s both the game and the men. I love sports and am fairly athletic.I am also super competitive!

Doing math work with a grin on my face.

Got a call this morning from a man who recently bought a warehouse at auction.  There were a bunch of cylinders in there (Oxygen, Acetylene, Argon, Nitrogen).  He had no use for them and just wanted them out of the way.  Told us if we were willing to pick them up, we could have them free of charge.

We picked up over $10,000 dollars worth of cylinders.  Even with the retests and new valves, we're still coming out over $8,000 dollars to the good.

There is pride in working hard and earning your keep...but that easy money is pretty damn sweet.

It is amazing how long a well housebroken dog will hold his urine. Sometimes , I forget to let Barney out, and then he will go outside and pee a river. Poor doggie. Bad doggie mama sometimes…😳

MY Cookie is such a good girl that way too @Katgirl. Even at 17 years old!! And if she has to go out in the middle of the night she'll just brush against the blinds or yip quietly to let me know. She's an amazing dog and I'm so lucky she found me! :)

@jillar, Barney picked me, too. I was all set to pick up an all red male Cockapoo, from a litter of 6 or 7 pups, when Barney, an Apricot colored one, ran up to me and would not leave me alone. He has been glued to my side, ever since.
