Heat a tiny bit o oil to low heat.

Add two chopped leeks and one chopped carrot.

Sweat for 10 mins, meanwhile grate 4 carrots and chop packet of cooking bacon.

Add water, ham stock cubes, the cooking bacon and grated carrot to pot. Plus one bowl of red lentils. Salt and pepper. Some chopped parsley.

Simmer for 20 mins.

Hey presto, delicio

Jillar and fluffy why are your dogs shittin and puking everywhere ????

How many grams is a bowl of red lentils? Sorry to ask I’ve not used red lentils before. I’m going to have a go at making this soup this week.  Do you soak or wash the lentils ? Thank you

Oh I don't know how many grams. I would guess it's around 350g for a big pot. You need to be careful not to put in too little lentils as you want it thickish, not watery. I don't wash or soak the lentils!

Making my grandma's Hungarian donut called Fank.  Only make it one time a year because it is a lot of work and expensive.  Always made it during the fall and we would have it with fresh

apple cider.  My son looks forward to me making it every year and he will be surprised when he comes to visit.

Yes aren't you the one that likes those icicles on the house too?

i thought you were in Texas.  You were complaining it was hot last week.  You must be experiencing some Ohio weather.

about to edit more photographs of an antique beaded belt on deer hide.  I believe it to be from the Sioux Tribe. 89486278_SouixBelt006(2).thumb.jpg.8c350f1035c97315e05c09b534ac10d5.jpg

I am looking for an appraisal and a reasonable offer.  It is really beautiful. A gallery in New Mexico wants some photos.
