I have been out on sick leave from work since mid-April (CABGx3 surgery).....meeting some co-workers for lunch today! ?

Oh its 11C(51F) here right now.. 5.40am middle of winter... looking at a high or 15C(59F) with rain... yay rain....not cold enough for jumpers or heaters.... its gunna be int the 20s next week. Thanks @G67 for converting to C... way too early for math... oh and stay cool and hope the fires are far, far away...

Aww blimey Fluffy...not that cold in the pool yet....but it's been raining all day...we have been spoilt here...and I missing it already...

My Nicky is in Canberra...she says very cold..only a month to go and she arrives in England...hopefully she will feel the warmth ...

Canberra is bitter atm... they are expecting below 0 tonight... Canberra is the coldest capitol in Australia, even colder than Hobart which is the most southern. We are expecting 17 tomorrow but the wind is coming from the south... which means off the arctic. So its going to feel a lot colder than today. In Melbourne this time of year we don't get much of a temp drop overnight... so might be 8 overnight and 15 during the day.... but in Canberra the gaps bigger...Here are the next 10 days for Canberra  low/high..... -1/14; 0/17; 0/17; 1/13; -1/13; 1/13; -3/11(19th); -7/11 (20th... yep that's minus 7); 0/14 & 0/17 .... its the coldest winter there in over a decade. I hope she has ducted heating.

Yep she says it's the coldest she can remember...and we have just had the hottest time ...I can remember...

She has good heating..and two duvet ,s.....and plenty of warning food...

I wish she would move to Cairns...I love it there...lol....

She be home soon ....warm hugs off me ...

she wouldn't need 2 doonas in Cairns even in the middle of winter... but she would have to worry about crocodiles and cyclones ;) ... hahaha... nah-yeah I'd like to be in Cairns too.

waiting on the cattle to boil so I can have  a nice hot pot of tea all to meself while I rack me brain for a frickin costume idea for the kid.. think I'll do a HELP post...
