Because if you dont have a sick bucket too hand there is a good chance that you'll be scrubbing orange lasagne stains out of that lovely carpet . Would you be looking forward to that..?

If you haven't hurled in a way reminiscent of a scene from The Exorcist have you ever really puked?

Doesn't it make more sense to simply flush the toilet rather than using a middle man that you still have to dump into the toilet and clean out afterwards?

You have a good point weegie, but what about this:

1. The loo is a much bigger target (Exorcist type puking)

2. Who wants to clean out the bucket or keep it around not cleaned when your sick like that?

What if you miss the bucket? ?

No weegie, I'm never too sick that I can't make it to the toilet. Is your toilet far away?

Maybe if I had a kid I would do the sick bucket for them?

Would you think it odd that I do not remember what my mum did? I do. If I am caring for someone else I give them a bucket.

I don't remember what my mom did either but it seems like I would remember a sick bucket don't you think?

Fun fact: my husband absolutely LOVES watching people get sick. He used to piss me off in our younger days when too much alcohol would send me to the toilet, he'd be right behind me trying to get in and laughing hysterically grrrrr
