Naw, it's a Christmas tradition here at the theatres, mainly for kids but adults love it too. I seen a Christmas carol last year, twas brill! I think you would like it!

Do you think we all do Christmas a wee bit different?

Well, if you just barely saw A Christmas Carol last year than yes. But don't you think Christmas is the one holiday we all have in common as far as tree, decorations etc?

No panto down under but I know what it is. We used to put one of dad's footy socks hanging off a shelf of the book case in the lounge to get our stocking fillers. Do you all get chocolate money?

We put our stockings hanging from the fireplace mantel. We used to get ten silver dollars in ours, would chocolate coins have been better?

Chocolate money is awesome....  but real money is always best... we used to get a sunscreen chap stick, a little tube of SPF30, some junky game thing, chocolate money, santa mints (chocolate mints with a sugar santa head), candy cane, coloured popcorn, a comic book or magazine and nuts.... did we get ripped off?

We were already teen wagers when we moved out here but in Alabama where I grew up in the winter they were treats. Did your stocking get less as you got older too?

Oh that's right your chrissy time is winter and ours is summer.... and nope, stayed the same cos we had a huge age gap.. with my sisters. Did your presents disappear if you looked at them before the sun woke up?

Ours was that Santa wouldn't come if we weren't asleep. Our big presents came while we were sleeping, did yours?

Yep... after carols (a christmas eve tv program in Melbourne) we would blow out the candles, put out a beer and some savoy shapes and fruit cake for santa and then go to bed... in the morning the socks would be full and our designated chairs would have our gifts artistically arranged over them. Our santa didn't do wrapping paper, did yours?

Yea ours wrapped most of them. Not the bikes or unicycle. Never did figure out how to ride that thing. Anyway, it's a wonder you got anything leaving Santa fruit cake. Don't you know that everyone hates fruitcake?

Raisins are different.... its often even the same grape but the way they are dried makes them different I think in the US they call sultanas golden raisins... they are treated before being dried so they keep a more golden colour... and usually smaller than raisins... in Aus any dried fruit from thompson grapes is classed sultana but and raisins come from larger, usually red grapes. Don´t you just love google?
