I have read about this  issue since early on in my quit and it seems to be the number 1 issue threatening not only new quits but well established quits as well.

OK, you've been quit now for months or even years so what's the harm .... just one for old times sake! You can abstain easily right after that one! Oh, the posts I have read of people years into their quit who thew it all away by seducing themselves to have "just one"! Then after that, the agony and disappointment in realizing the truth of what they have lost. Complete devastation!  Back to square one!! What a shame. NEVER listen to that voice - not matter what.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
