Hello all! Permission to come aboard?

I'm Jane, I smoked for 20yrs, quit cold turkey on Mother's Day 2017. I really enjoy this whole quit process...it's changed me and my life for the better. I love to celebrate and helping others remember the joy in their own quits.

Thank you guys for your hospitality and I'm excited to join y'all!! loveshower.gif

Hi Jane & welcome (officially) :) Make yourself at home, now that you're here. We are a smaller group than what you are used to but we're generally speaking a fun group and in the end we are here to help everyone wanting to put this awful addiction behind them and we love to share everyone's victories and milestones right along with them :)

Welcome Jane, the more the merrier and your knowledge and experience will be helpful.  I am glad you are enjoying yourself on this quit and see you are not too far from the 1 year mark, I hope I can say this when I reach your time mark.

Hi Jane!  I don’t remember the date of last Mothers’ Day but with my quit date of 5/20/17, you and I quit around the same time. Congrats on your quit and welcomed me to the QuitTrain!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
