So this guy takes his G/F out on a date. He says, "Hey can you open the glove box and hand me my cigarettes?"

She opens it and there is a box of condoms in there also. She is young and naive and asks what they were for.

He is embarrassed and tells her, "OH those. Yeah, if you are smoking out in the rain, you put them over your cigarette so it won't get wet".

A few days later she goes to the store to buy some smokes but then decides to get some condoms too.

The pharmacist asks what size condom and she goes, "Something big enough to fit a camel".

Walk a mile for a camel???

Yeah, that was the slogan but what they didn't tell you was that eventually, you won't be able to walk 5 steps for anything :85_scream_cat:

And like reciprocity said also.

It is funny that not only did they deny that cigs were harmful, they acted like your health would improve. Marlboro used to have those "miles" and one of the so-called rewards was a damn bicycle.  Yes.

I will let someone else state the obvious about THAT one.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
