I assume it is a free app? What if it said "contains ads" and it ended up being pop-up ads for tobacco?

How hilarious would that be?

When I googled "quit smoking tickers" today, this one showed up in the page that was displayed. It's similar to the info. that used to be displayed in our Quit Train tickers on the old site. Has more info on the app tho.

Good point, Joel.

Because my math sucks so bad I only pay attention to the counter.

There are a few things on that counter that are not accurate for me, so I don’t pay them any attention.

The counter is all I ever paid attention to when I saw them on people's posts on various sites. I was actually quite surprised two years ago when it was pointed out to me that they now included stats on things like expected urges at various points in time. There is just no way to accurately predict this kind of variable for any specific individual who has quit smoking.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
