Tonight at 10:30p will complete my 5th day no smoke.

I  don't know what to do with the extra time and money. Heh, yeah I do.

Time especially, It seems I have so much more time on my hands.

Never realized how much time I wasted smoking.

Today, today is all I want..

If I can make this happen and keep my quit, anyone can! Anyone!

You're absolutely right- it can seem impossible at times but it's true that anyone can and we are all anyones.  Your winning attitude will carry you to victory!

Good job and yes, the extra time on your hands is shocking at first. Think about all that time you wasted and not only smoking but planing your smoking activities in your head. Do I have enough smokes to last until morning? Is my lighter about to run out of fuel? When can I get out for a smoke break at work? Oh wait, gotta go back to the house, forgot my cigs :52_fearful:

It's incredible how much of our daily lives were consumed with smoking related thoughts/activities.

Thanks!

In my 11th day.

I swear with my addictive personality, If I can, literally anyone can.

Allen Carr smoked 4 packs a day. He quit. No matter how bad you think you got it, somebody has got it worse.

I never thought for a second that I would be a non-smoker, even for 11 days. Hell, 1 day...

They do nothing for us. They take away our health, our time and our money.

Of course at three weeks and three months there is sometimes a nasty battle where we want like hell to smoke again.

Just keep in mind that you were able to go 11 days without a smoke, so you KNOW you can survive without another coffin nail.

So by now, notice how food actually taste better and you can smell stuff again?

Plus, all the stupid inconveniences of smoking are no longer a bother. Like trying not to run out, having to make a special trip to the store, lighters stocked, etc...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
