Ok, so I've been happily posting images, photographs, and clipart here....

It's usually the image type (format: .gif, .jpg, etc.), not the image itself, nor your permissions.

 

Can you convert the image to another format?

 

What is the exact filename you are trying?

Is that what I have to do? Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't....I guess I'll have to fool around with it. Thanks, Sarge!

With some images, you have to delete them, move the cursor to a different location in your post then paste them again. If that doesn't work try it again at least 3 or 4 times.

 

If it still won't post I usually just save it onto my computer, modify it in my graphics program, rename it and all is good.

 

There are some graphics that you just can't copy and paste because the entire image is water marked with copyright protection and for those you probably shouldn't use them anyway.

until the other day. All of a sudden, I'm getting these messages that say "you are not allowed to use this image in this community"!

 

What happened?
