Millions have quit smoking before you, and millions have died because they didn't

the quitters quit because it is very very possible, and very very simple.

some might say it's easy ;-) and each of them have given themselves a chance of living.

the ones who didn't quit and smoked themselves to death made a poor choice, and decided to keep on smoking would be easier than to regain their lives.

please make the right choice.

Because you always have the choice.

"No passion so effectively robs the mind of its powers of acting and reasoning as fear" - Edmund Burke

Fear is what binds those who choose to smoke - choose to be unafraid - and you will walk free. - El Bandito B)

agreed, and when mixed with some misinformation, and false belief, you have a self created prison;-)

Agreed 100%.  I wish my younger brother would quit.  He's too damn of afraid of all the horror stories about quitting and I keep telling him it's bull.  Of course, he wants to smoke more than he wants to quit and that's the main issue.  I'm going to tell him AGAIN to join this site.  His 7 year old son begs him to quit.  He needs to quit and it saddens me because I know he can do it and I know what he's doing to himself by continuing to smoke.

it's a cycle that will repeat itself for as long as cigarettes are made and sold.

We were once in your brothers shoes, affraid to quit.

Someone was once in our shoes, telling us to quit, saying it's easy, like your brother, we did not believe.

one day he will be in our shoes, baffled as to how he could have been so blinded and bound, and telling someone new how to quit :-)

I sure hope so, Jonny.  Nothing would make be happier than to see him free not only because he's my brother but also for his son.  My brother is part of who I am in the sense that I'd give my life to save his in a second without any hesitation.  If I can get his procrastinating, excuse making ass of his over here, it will be a miracle in and of itself.

The more I think about it, a good ass kicking from me and my Dad may be in order.  :)  I'm gonna put foot to ass.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
