That's right Jayhawk. That 1st month is very tough but your done with that now and are through successfully. Just keep doing what you have been doing and stay ever vigilant as you strengthen that quit. It's a long journey for sure but the good news is that things will get gradually easier for you and you will have more time to start enjoying the many benefits of quitting :)

...  I can feel it getting better..

And that's how it works.  There may be times ahead when you'll feel strained, but it passes.  And immediately after, you'll 'feel it getting better' and that in itself reinforces your non-smoker status.  Doing great!  <thumbs up>

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
