Hey thanks my favorite quit buddies :) I have been looking forward to this 1/2 year mark as a pretty major milestone in my quit journey. Next one I have my eye on now is the 1 year anniversary! I want to thank all of you on this board for the wealth of information that I've been able to use to my advantage in helping me quit and stay quit. I feel pretty solid in my quit now but still have a healthy respect for what this addiction is and what will happen if I do anything stupid. I want to keep that in mind always so I can remain quit for life because, as all you that went before me always said in the early part of my quit; "it will get easier if you just push forward and don't smoke" and guess what ........ it did! It's easy to manage now and will get even better in the next 6 months too I expect. Why would I ever throw that all away?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
