Hi everyone,

I know I don't post as much anymore but I still lurk and keep up with everyone here. It is nice to see the newer people killing it and the oldies keeping it up. For those who don't know me I quit in 8/2012 met some these peeps in another place and followed them here. It did truly help to be on a message board solidly for the first year or 2 or more....i was able to vent, whine, cry and bitch while I was hoping away the nasty cigs. It is nice to meet the new ones and see the old ones.

Yes bakon it is summer and I am totally wearing flip flops

Hello :) You were before my time but I have seen you around occasionally and congrats on being almost 5 years smoke free - that's awesome. You are correct in what you say about being part of a support group. It's a key tool in helping build a solid quit. Something I never even thought of when I first quit so I'm certainly glad to have stumbled across this site in the early days of my own quit:)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
