I am not a doctor or medical professional, but there must be some improvement in 7 months.  My breathing improved within a few weeks and I lost my constant cough within days.

I can't remember which app I had.  My understanding is that the deep damage to the lungs takes a bit longer to recover.  Every day they get better though. That's all I need to know.

I have the app too..

Far from expert - but even after a couple of months - I breathe better.

These things are always an approximation I guess!

Still coughing up a green chunk every couple of days after 2 months. Can't seem to get more breath than I burn in a 1/4 mile jog, heh heh. This may sound weird but my lungs taste like dirt - that's the best way to put it. Dunno, anybody else have weirdness like that?

Was a smoker for 20 years but now quit for 7 months. According to my App, my lung health is still unimproved...guess they take a long time to heal...NYMbu4w.jpg

I have this app and I also smoked for 20 years.

My symptoms went away literally overnight when I quit. For that I am so grateful.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
