I walked over from my office to the CVS.. I had no shopping list just wanted something really wanted a pack of cigarettes.  This is what I came back with.

1 pack of twizzlers (just ate about 4)

1 pack of Brookside dark chocolate Acai with blueberry (trying this next)

1 pack of Brookside dark chocolate Goji with raspberry (maybe will get to this)

1 bag of tootsie roll loli pops

The dark chocolate Acai is really good it is soft fruit flavored centers covered in smooth

dark chocolate.

onto the loli pop

LOL- I don't eat crap like this but I guess I am now.

Yay Amy!!!  Why the heck not ey!!  It will pass, the cravings. Omg I thought I was going to OD on sweet chilli peanuts haha, my mans pub ordered me a whole box to get me through the first weeks lmao.  I say this because youabsolutely do what works, to get you through the tough times. I don't care if you go raiding the dark chocolate deliveries ;)

You are doing so great though, kinda lovely to see how it should be done, I bitched a whole lot more haha. You are an inspiration, can't wait for your two weeks tomoz my friend so brilliant you brought munchies over cigs!! xx

Its all good Amy better than stinky smelly smokes and see it as a little treat - later on you can pull back on the bad stuff(if you want ;))

Not feeling so much in control just winging it doing my NOPE pledge everyday and crossing my fingers. Quitting Smoking

sucks right now and I know it will get better just waiting for that day.

you are doing it, and that is how it's done. One step, one crave and you fight, and eat, and trudge one foot in front of the other. And no smoking allowed, because it's off the table for us now and we stand together. Nearly a new milestone..one foot in front of the other. xx

Good for you! That was my favorite part about quitting in the beginning, I let my sweet tooth go nuts and enjoyed the taste of chocolate again. I was always munching on something. All of that is better than smoking 100% better! Keep it going! You're doing great :D

You enjoy them Amy, so much better than yucky cigarettes, quitting does suck but it does get easier believe me, the ride is a bit bumpy sometimes but think of the end result, a happier healthier you, what more could you want  :D

I just left work and was on my way to the Marble Slab for a Chocolate Malt. I even drove through the parking lot, but came home with no Malt. After reading this I bet I go back in about an hour. Thanks Amy.  :P

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
