May 8, 20179 yr Congrats Feely for getting through Hell week! It's the hardest week of all to navigate and you've done it. Treat yourself to something today - you deserve it :)
May 8, 20179 yr Thank you! I thought that tomorrow was a week for me! Tough week! Whew! I just want to breathe again.
May 8, 20179 yr Congratulations on slaying this week. Week One will test you on many levels but you just proved your commitment to YOU over addiction. Keep up the effort, and keep it simple, Feely. You are so worth it!
May 8, 20179 yr Good for you on getting through your first smoke free week, Feely! Be proud and celebrate!!! :)
May 8, 20179 yr Great Job Feely!! Fist week is the hardest week....yes, you will have horrible moments and those moments will feel just as strong as in the first week at times but if you don't give into them you will see they don't last and NEVER will you go through that "every 20 seconds I think about a cigarette" feeling as the first week. It just gets less frequent and then suddenly one day you realize HOURS went by and you didn't even think about smoking...or not smoking...it's a great feeling! Feely is feelin' it!
May 8, 20179 yr Author Oh yeah - sorry. I got it wrong on the calendar of quit dates I'm making. Anyway, we'll just start your celebration a little early :) It'll be tomorrow soon enough and you'll still be quit then too!!
May 8, 20179 yr Keep going Feely. I know it was a rough week for you, but it gets better...much better. Congratulations.
May 8, 20179 yr Well done Feely... the first week is the worst!...you may think differently later, but... I am pretty certain you wouldn't want to do this week over...right? continue to move forward..eye on the prize! :) CONGRATS!
May 9, 20179 yr Thank you so much! Yeah, it got really hard at times, but I'm finding it getting a little easier. I never would have done it without the support of this board and QSMB. I just know that I don't want to smoke anymore. Enough. Nope.
May 9, 20179 yr Author Proud of you Feely! And yes, keep that attitude. I know the pure determination got me through some tough times and will serve you well too :)
