Hi Everyone,

I'm a new member to this board, I'm also a member on another board, I'm here on the recommendations of a member of both boards.  I have been reading some of the posts, you have been very welcoming and understanding to the new members from the other board, thank you.  You can't get too much support when you are quitting smoking.

I quit cold turkey after 45 years of smoking a pack a day,  It has been just over 3 months, so the worst of it is over, but I am still relying on the support of others that are on this journey.

I hope to continue as a member of both boards.

Hi Nina :) The description you gave of your status is very close to my own smoking history and quit date so I feel like I know you already. Welcome to the Quit Train. we're glad you decided to join us for continued support and maybe even a little fun?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
