I met George Bush Sr. in the sixties.

Kennebunkport, Maine

Top center was my uncles cottage and to the right top and bottom is the church that George Bush used to have his press conferences in front of. That's the Bush house on the bottom left which is right behind the camera person's back when they took the picture of my Uncle's place.

George Sr. loves speed boats.

I grew up in Oxford, was in a bunch of bands and hung out in the 'band scene' in that scene were a couple of bands that went onto make a job of it... Radiohead and Supergrass. Now I'm not saying they were friends but I did hang out with them.

Also got back stage passes at a Glastonbury in 93 and ended up having drinking games with Tanya Donnely (from Belly) and Andy Kershaw (radio DJ).

Oh, you guys have been lucky. :)

I don't think I've ever met anyone famous. Not yet at least. Grew up in the country and lived kind of a sheltered life until I moved out. Hopefully I'll get to meet famous people some day. :D

I never really cared for meeting "famous" people. They are just humans after all, what's so special about them? *shrug*

That being said, I wouldn't say no to a coffee with Sir Patrick Stewart.
