Hello! Glad to be here!

I've only got my second day after more than a week of trying to quit. I sincerely hope to make this stick - so I'll mostly be reading content here and elsewhere.

Thank you for being here!

I had 4 days and blew it. Then I had 2 days and blew it. Yesterday would have been a week. I'm determined not to fall into one of those stupid endless loops of sliding. NOPE

Welcome feely!

Glad you made it and found Claire too. So important for newbies who are going thru the same struggle to stick together.

One day at a time. Sometimes one minute at a time but you get through it. As a non smoker!

Hey Feely!!!  Glad you found this site and decided to join to help you in your quit.  Be strong during these early days...just let the nicotine work its way out of your system.  It only takes 3 days.  Then you are free of that beast.  I'm only at 9 days but I feel incredible since going cold turkey.  I can tell the nicotine is gone and just remind myself...any future desires to smoke are simply psychological, not physical.  The nicodemon is gone but tries to fool me that its back.  NOPE has been a helpful pledge for me every morning.  It's my first post of the day as soon as I wake up.  We got this Feely!  We're here with you!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
