Hmm. Interesting observation this morning.

One of our friends turned up to help with some work, and my God, he really did stink of cigarettes - he stood in our doorway about five metres from me, and I could still smell it.  I had never noticed it before, well not as strong anyway.  Am wondering if I was just desensitized to it when I was a smoker.

Anyway, I'm glad I don't smell like that anymore.   :D  :D  :D

When your a smoker.. You just carnt smell it...

I can smell that stink now.a mile away...all those smoking years I've gave hugs out..not knowing how gross it must have been for the poor folks on the receiving end....

Now I can give hugs out and not worry...

Nice one. I'd not like to be hugged by someone who smells of strong cigarettes.

Also I think some people smell more than others. If they smoke inside, smoke a lot and don't wash their clothes they'll smell a lot more from my observation.

It's so sad to think that we smelled like that and didn't even know it! A while back I saw a VERY good looking man at the grocery store...as I walked by I was overwhelmed with old ashtray smell. Gag. He wasn't good looking to me anymore. blech!
