Nice! Another benefit of quitting. No brownish build up on your tongue :) Bet your taste buds are waking up too?

Pumkpin, as those taste buds wake up, be careful with your spices!  The first time I had pizza, I put on my usual amount of crushed red pepper, and I was on fire. Another member did the same thing horseradish sauce on a sandwich!

You are doing great!!

Very glad for you. Celebrate by getting some ice cream or drinking some wine or eating some hot fudge or ......whatever else may tickle your tongue.  :D

Yes - the longer I'm here on this board, the more I begin to realize just how shockingly bizarre some of us really are.

Love it though; quitting can be FUN!!

Today I noticed that I didn't notice I coughed. It used to be so frequent, if was a part of being awake. I'm pretty sure I coughed today, but it was the first day I can remember where I didn't notice. Probably because it happened once or twice. I feel better with each and every minute of my freedom. Thank you all for the support.

That's the biggest benefit I noticed early on too Rob. That constant cough and clearing of my throat. Gone or certainly very reduced almost immediately on stopping :)
