My husband and I are ballroom dancers.  We aren't very good - still beginners - but we enjoy it.

This weekend we are going to a ballroom gala.  He'll be in a tuxedo and I will be ina chiffon ballgown with a TWIRLY skirt (I know you are jealous).

The best part is - and a huge reason for me to quit, is smelling sweet when I am waltzing in my husbands arms.

Yes, I do know how sappy that sounds.  No, I don't care. :)

Today's mantra:  It's worth it

Good for you :) I hope you & your husband really enjoy yourselves.

A chance for you both to enjoy a big benefit of no longer smoking!! These are the things that keep us motivated during our quit. Looking forward to those benefits we can now enjoy as non smokers. It's not just about the health aspect.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
