Rewarding yourself for all the effort you are putting into this quit,is very important..

It's your ..big pat on the back...

After all what you are achieving is quite amazing...

Look at all that lovely money ,you are saving by not killing yourself..

So yes... go and treat yourself...the bigger the better...

Very true especially first couple weeks. Make it a day. Buy a magazine you would normally pass on. Three days. Go out to eat. A week maybe some music or a book. Just something extra to say good job to yourself. Reward the behavior

So true.... you can start off with little things then as time passes, and the money you've not wasted grows, you can reward yourself with fabulous holidays, updates on your home the list is endless reallly.

The lipsticks, if your a woman, soon turn into new luggage sets for holidays with time.

One day we will discover that the biggest reward for not smoking is not having to smoke.

Until then, we have vanilla lattes.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
