The BOSS is was due in 2 minutes ago and I still haven't finished the mountain of projects he dumped on me yesterday at 3:00 (thanks so very much).

I needed to pop in here and anchor myself to the quit.

Today's mantra: This, too, shall pass

It will pass, I had a nightmare day yesterday and could of easily smoked but instead chose the tourettes route. I turned the air blue with swearing instead of smoke. And if you cant finish the work the boss dumps on you, its too much work. don t finish it or they expect it all the time!

Just carry on and do the best you can. No one can expect more than that. Push the smoking thing out of your mind altogether. You're done with that now and you know it wouldn't help anything anyway - only makes things worse and why would you want to do that??

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
