The Big Boss is coming in to town this week.  Not even sure when his plane lands, but I am already hyperventilating.

This is a huge trigger for me and I am having a really tough, tough morning.

Today will be micro-managing a thousand triggers.

I shall think of big trees and cool shadows.  I shall think of ferns in dappled light.  I shall think of hidden places to put the body.

Today's mantra: I don't look good in smoke or orange.

What boss, youre the boss, the other one just pays the wages. You ll be fine, just another no smoking day at the office.

I thought you had said I shall think of HIDING places to put the body. You serial killers get bolder all the time!

You're ahead of things already by having recognised that this is a major trigger for you. You have prepared yourself over the past month to deal with triggers so now you can just employ any and all copping methods you need to. You'll do just fine. You may surprise yourself at just how far you've really come.

You have this EX!  At least you know your trigger and can do things to prevent smoking...ANYTHING is better :)  Eat a gallon of ice cream, shove candies into your mouth, keep gum on you, drink lots and lots of water....you can do this!  Think of how great you will feel conquering a big trigger like this! :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
