I keep coming back to how good everything smells now.  And how unbelievably foul other smokers smell!!

How could I have smelled so bad an not noticed.  YUCK!!!!

Yuckety yuck yuck yuck

All the fabric freshener and scented lotions could not have overpowered that stench.

HUGELY motivating to me!

Today's mantra: Give perfume a chance.

I agree, Ex-T ...

Once our sense of smell returns, it's amazing how good things smell.... Alternately...the bad smells are more noticeable also. :(

I remember walking out to the mailbox to get the mail one day, and having to wait for a car to pass before I could cross the street....apparently the driver was a smoker...passing me at 45mph, I could smell his cigarette!! I couldn't believe it...lol

But, thankfully there are more nice smells out there than bad ones. :D

Great mantra ....

There is truly nothing better than the smells now!  I absolutely love the smell of lotions, perfume, a good deodorant and clean sheets.  Its crazy how much we miss when we are puffing away.  However, as you said, NOTHING is worse than the smell of a smoker...I can't believe I let myself smell like that....YUCK indeed!  I can't wait until spring to plant some flowers and smell fresh cut grass...my absolute favorite smell in the world.

Great job Ex!!!! 18 days is something to be very proud of...keep on er!

It is really nice to not smell smoke anywhere. I am a neat freak and that alone should have been enough reason to quit sooner. It is a messy habit. I am trying to not make the smokers feel bad about how bad they smell as I hated that  when I was a smoker. One time my boss needed a file right after I had a smoke and he goes you stink. I felt terrible......

Oh - wow.  That was a harsh thing for your boss to say!

But look at you now!! Just past the 2 month mark and on a roll!

Good job
