Our brains have been in a cycle of smoking for years..decades..

Smoking was after all..a huge part of our lives..

When we quit..it just takes time for our brains to adjust to doing all those things smoke free..

Every time you do a task without your crutch it gets easier..

Until one day you suddenly reolize ,you havnt thought of smoking at all...

We are all different..some get there quicker than others..but we all get there eventually..

Be patient..don't over think.. You are in your journey..where you need to be...

As long as you get to Rome...

Our old friend neuroplasticity.  Every single time you refrain from smoking you are altering your brain.  Out with the old neural pathways, in with the new.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
