You're gonna ask me 'seriously?!'

I live in this shared house with others who receive home support, one of them - I'm embarresed to say - my 'ex'- boyfriend has gone completely gone mad. He threatened me, begin spring and hit my door, completely lost it, from then to now he's been agressive to an elderly lady, threatened her, another guy downstairs and yes - our pregnant home supporter. When he came after kicking the door open, callen her a c*ncerbitch and threaten her, I urgered her to walk up the stairs FIRST, realising her baby must be kept safe, rather I get a knock or a kick then her baby.... (this was yesterday) The police even came.

She's taken this to the headquarter and I 'complained' again that this is getting out of hand.

First I called of the christmas brunch but then I thought F*CK him, I'm not gonna stay away and let my christmas bruch be ruined (I suggested the idea) because he's a psychopath. ;) So I put my big girls panties on and told my neighbor, I'm in for the brunch :)

I expect this lovely 'ex' being kicked out sooner or later, both me and the home supporter realize he's a real danger. So, all peace over here :P

But hey I ain't smoking.

Did I have my glasses on, back then, when he was my bf???? Glad we never had sex, that would have been shitty

Oh, yeah I'll keep a low profile hun :) won't provoke anything. But I won't let myself be chased away or feel threatened or make myself too scared to go to the livingroom, hell it's my livingroom too :) We'll be with 4 or 5 people Christmas day :) so if it doesn't suit he can kiss my *ss

I'm not sure if you friends notice, but I'm comfortable and secure in my skin, stabile, and not easily swept off my feet :) I told you, I'd be back. I just had to adjust my meds ;) and I work hard myself too :) I'm proud of myself

4 days on the ticker; first day without champix... I have this huge craving to something, mostly mentally - so I'm gonna NOPE - It's the idea I'm without champix 'oh now I'm gonna crave a cig', lol, NOPE... Just NOPE

Proud of you too...keep safe and hopefully you will be re housed early next year, or the aggressive trouble makers will be gone.

I can tell you feel secure as had you not been that would have seemed like your perfect example to say "was too stress, I smoked" so well done on being so determined and mentally strong not to.

Sharonssif - same with the huge cravings earlier this morning I was like oh hell no way I'm gonna smoke I trew away my pride and posted an SOS, making the deal NOPE and wait for replies and I found out the trigger (Christmas music and Xms sweater, I smoked with them) So I put on another sweater and listen to music where I never smoked with ;) I'm not caught that easily anymore. :D

I decided I will take the nerve out of the Christmas trigger, put my Christmas sweater on and music on. I AM SMOKFREE and am ALLOWED to celebrate Christmas without smokes

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
