I am New!

Recommended Posts

Hello, my name is Gypsy. 30 year old female and I smoked heavily for about seven years. I first decided to cut back in June and then quit in July. I started smoking one cigarette a day after a month being smoke free and then realized this was pointless, so I quit again.

This quit has been different, I feel more committed this time.

Welcome aboard Gypsy.  Recognizing the futility of smoking is a big step in the right direction.  When the fact that the cigarette only cures a problem created by the cigarette and offers nothing else sets in, the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place.

Congratulations.  Enjoy the freedom.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
