It's the perfect gift to give yourself.  You'll feel better physically and mentally.  You'll lead a more productive life as you no longer have to stop what you're doing to smoke.  Your sex life will improve.  The food you eat will taste better.  You get a boost of self confidence from the success of quitting.  And...not only is it free, you'll save a bunch of money over time.

This quitting thing sells itself.

I am excited and awaiting the arrival of new folks to join us. :welcome:

I can tell you the fear or anticipation of doing this was actually worse that just taking the bungie jump off and doing it  .

Your going to be ok and although quitting will take some work,  it is nice to ride the freedom train with others who understand . They know the terraine pretty darn good and will help .

I can tell you that I haven't met a quitter who has regretted the decision to quit .

Welcome aboard the QUIT FAMILY TRAIN  :welcome:

( P.s. I am Sherri  :imnewhere:  , the one who always forgets the ticker but its somewhere about 5 .5 years )

But to this day, day ONE is the best day of my life.  :) Come on in ..grab a seat and sit a spell ;  take your shoes off ; enjoy the ride . Great place to quit .

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
