Good glad you feel awful ...

Picture all those cigarettes you smoked sitting in your tummy . Think of all the cigarette smoke from those 1000's of cigs in one big cloud sitting in your brain . No wonder we felt sick . Well you are a non smoker now . It will take time,  but you will feel better soon and your head will think more clearly than ever before .Then JOY comes and GRATEFULNESS  comes , And FUN comes .  You will love it Evelyn . One day at a time ... One day ..don't smoke ..Don't worry about tomorrow .. Just for today :)

Good job posting  Evelyn .Remember the SOS feature if you get stuck.

The thing that helped me most was knowing that its ok to post .. That posting is showing strength not weakness . I made it my rule when I quit  . Post /don't smoke.

I had to tell myself it is not ok to smoke if you have quit because it takes you back to day one and the way through this is to GET THROUGH. Day one over and over hurts ; it is discouraging so we gotta keep the ball rolling :)  A puff won't save your quit  ... not having one will.  A puff is not an NRT . A puff could lead us back to a pack a day in no time .

This site is great . I am glad I came here .  It has distraction forums , music forums ... games etc.  It great . It has great stuff for the tool box.  Great resource  tools here as well .

Remember Evelyn craves pass when we do something different.  Self talk really works. Another tool .

Great job Evelyn . Great job keeping your . Your worth it. Craves will pass I promise...just take it in small chunks , small goals and achieve them . Your doing great .

I continue to look forward to pledging  with you and walking the journey to our forever quits .

One step at a time .

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
