Markus, you make me laugh. At times, we reach exactly the same conclusions from completely the opposite directions

Become what your heart has desired for so long.

You know yourself. You have thought of being smoke free for years.

See yourself as quit. You will become just that.

A dream becomes desire. Desire becomes reality.

Courage and freedom have always been yours.

So, make your own reality, today.

You can do it but you have to choose.

Logic and reason GIVE YOU YOUR bearing, you will lose your way with EMOTION

The quit is fueled from pure, RATIONAL THOUGHT.

Let your heart have COURAGE TO GIVE YOUR HEAD the final say.

My emotion is the voice that shouts, smoke! My emotion is the voice that whispers "you can't live for ever" or "just one won't hurt".

It is my rational logic that firmly asserts "you won't live for ever but that doesn't mean you should poison yourself" or "just one? There is no just one. Just one is a lifetime of slavery. Be aware of your choice's consequences"

At times, the logic has to call on the emotion, has to beg for its trust!

Smoking has no upside. Test this logically. Then get your heart on board and use both!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
