Thanks, you guys.

I will be honest  -  after the first month it's easier on a minute to minute/hour to hour/day to day basis - but sometimes it still SUCKS.

Still - if I can make it past 6 months I will surpass the longest I've ever managed to quit since I started smoking.

You are very supportive, & very kind.

Special shout out to Sazerac! Thanks for keeping an eye out for my milestones!

Thanks so much shout out, UW, that  was very sweet and made me really happy.

Remember, you will have a first year of seasonal triggers. Stay vigilant and don't be discouraged.

In your brain, the last nicotine receptors are being reconfigured into free receptors with every crave you beat,

everything gets better and better and better.

Stay Strong.  You have a great quit going on !

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
