Thanks everyone. :)

I had a great weekend!

It was Sherries weekend off work, so on Sat. morning we loads up the Mustang and took off for Columbus. My daughter Jodi bought a new house a couple months ago, and Sherrie hasn't seen it since a lot of painting and projects have been complete. And since her husband is out of the state for an extended time (training in Wisconsin for a new job with Amazon) we went down to hang out with her.

Sat. evening she had made reservations at a nice restaurant , and surprised us when our youngest daughter Kristin showed up. She lives in the same general area, but we were told she had to work and couldn't make it.

On the drive home Sunday, we stopped by Jenni's house and sat and visited with them for a couple hours before heading home. Kelli and her family was out of the state attending a wedding in Iowa... her two girls were Jr. bridesmaid/flower girl... so we didn't get to see them, but I have plans to go back to Columbus this coming weekend and spend a little time with them.

So....all in all, it was a great time...I spent time with most of my girls, and put about 500 miles on the Mustang.

Sorry I didn't acknowledge this sooner, but I left my phone and iPad at home on the weekend... I guess I am still old school....I don't "need" to stay connected every minute... I'll check my messages when I get home and return any important calls then....lol

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.. It made my day when I seen them! :D

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
