I've been popping in and out for awhile and really like the site.  Thank you for this site!

I've been quit for 7 years plus and was a member of a different site for several years until they changed formats and eliminated the chat room.  Chatting is my preference.  lol

I have most of my details in my profile, but briefly, I am almost 73, live in Phoenix, AZ and a very grateful quitter and love "paying it forward".

Looking forward to meeting new friends here.  Hugs, Pat

Welcome Pat....nice talking with you and the others in chat...

It's very commendable that you are here to pay it forward.

Addiction is a slippery slope and sometimes we need a reminder of how quick it can get a hold on us.

Congrats on you massive quit! You went right past the Lido deck (where we hold our 1 year parties. ;) ) and straight to the captains chair....7 Years is great!

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Patoola.  Nice to meet you and congratulations on seven-years free.  That is truly a top shelf quit you've got going there.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
