2007 Honda Shadow 1100vt

This spring sucks for riding but the weather looks to be finely breaking! I did see a bike out this morning in 25 degree weather, wow, little too cold for me! Tomorrow looks to be a better day for a try to ride to work!

Today me and my nephew are non smoking quad bikers

I have taught him how to ride it today - 10 laps of the garden and then he graduated to the fields - he changes all gears aswell :) proud aunty but a few grey hairs LOL

PS awful photo - but that look is pure fear pretending to smile - somehow he managed to dodge the dog and the cars!

Very nice set of bikes Sarge!

If you got your wife to ride too, that is also very nice!

There is hope for you yet!

It's 4 years since that photo album and, nope, she still won't ride.

She'll do off-road in anything on 2, 3, or 4 wheels but won't do 2 wheels on actual roads with traffic. She's not afraid of the bike, she's afraid of the other traffic.

Bummer that.

I rode in today is 35 degree weather, froze my butt and was spitting ice cubes!

Hopefully ride home will be better!

That's very understandable.  Sometimes I don't wanna ride (or drive) with the amount of stupid drivers on the road.

LOL yes REZ I was traumatised for a while and the pear trees took a bashing! Teaching him to take corners was worse  :o  then it was "Tracey can I do donoughts in the field" ummmmm NO you cannot not!!!

Ron and Rez - great to see you getting out there

Sarge - Do they do confident courses out there? maybe Becky might change her mind if she went on some of those - they have them here in the UK

I still want to take my test this year! - thats what I want my NS monies to go on - just hope I dont die on the road that would be ironic LOL

Had an amazing time at the race track over the weekend.  I was a little worried being out in the sun all day with chain smoking friends.  But to be honest, I noticed it once in the morning and never thought about it again the rest of the day.  I'm glad I could keep my head on being safe on the track and not have to worry about smoking and/or being tempted by smoking.  It was a tough day with one guy getting taken away on an ambulance and 2 other guys crashing later.  Hope that first guy is okay.  But for me personally, I'm thankful I got home safe and didn't get tempted to smoke...not even once.

Just a few pics...
