I'm technology challenged so I can never get my ticker to work correctly. Anyway, I'm almost 3.5 months quit.

I'm FINALLY feeling like I really CAN do this. I have to be honest, up until 2 weeks ago I seriously considered throwing the towel in every day. I was cranky and still having craves. I was driving my family crazy with how irritable I was. I even considered buying a pack and sneaking some (hubs is really solid in his quit and I think he would be really upset with me if I relapsed now). Somehow I hung in there. I'm not sure exactly what changed, but over the last 2 weeks I've not had any craves. I haven't even thought about it much. I'm so thankful I held in there.

I think a lot of my success was bc of this group. I don't post often but I try to jump on every few days and read. Seeing the long term quitters helped me hang in there. So, thank you from the bottom of my healing lungs. ;)

Hi I Can , the easy thing is to smoke , the only way to become a non smoker is not to smoke . 3.5 Months is a totally amazing feat , you have done it , just don't ever undo it by breaking the NOPE rule , our stupid brain will let the addiction take over with spades . Awesome work , I am going to get to 3.5 in a few months

So happy for you, Can!  You absolutely can do this.  One day at a time, and before you know it, you won't think of smoking.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
