I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology.  I'm not on Facebook or Twitter.  I don't even know what the other social media sites are.  Sometimes I feel like an 8-track tape deck living in a smartphone world.  I see people posting videos, photos, links, etc. and I'm not quite sure how that works.  So this thread is going to be my attempt at figuring this whole internet thing out.  There will be no rhyme or reason and frankly, it could get messy.

If you're like me, broke down on the on-ramp to the information superhighway, feel free to make this thread your own.  Experiment and tinker to your heart's content.

If you don't want to quote a whole post, you can just quote the post, and go into the box and delete until just what you want is left...like where I quoted you at the top of this post.

Here's a new one for you....Allen Carr

You copy the address and then highlight the words where you want your link.  Then click the image that looks like a link in the second  row of the top toolbar.  Paste the address in the box, and voila!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
