You will not believe this.

That's great, Karen. :) I wore the patch for 8 days, took it off b/c it wouldn't stay on due to the heat. I forgot about it the next morning and never looked back. The only noticeable difference was I was completely exhausted due to withdrawing from the stimulant, nicotine. It was a welcome change, because I was wired. Let us know how you make out, but I think you will do just fine :)

Good. Now be ready to get crabby. Mean crabby for a few days. It will pass.

How to deal with it.....keep mouth shut. Don't say anything for a few days. Just shut up and you can't get in trouble.

Ps wish I did that today myself. Crabby working night shift

Indigo-- it's between our ears... the mental sh*t but also the withdrawls.... took me 10 years to believe it. All smoke/lobby/industry I really believe if you get your mindset right (now gonna hijack a quote) it's easy peasy.
IT IS.

Always N.O.P.E. no exeptions. I kick on that quote (not litterally, before have to hear that all upcoming years) It's just basicly so simple

O and Indigo (and TEW) that doesn't mean being a kick-ass quiter, being strong means you're not able to be vunerable, crying, pissed off etc. It is just rather chew on the car, like Bakon (after a few years you wanna loose weight- another reason) or punch a pillow, cry your eyes out and sing-a-long with who-cares: but always NOPE

You're doing great :) both Karen and you Indigo

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
