This is from WhyQuit.com  .  The Body's Ability to Mend Itself

 

 

 

I used to look at this table all the time during my first year and imagine my body mending after 30 years of smoking. Each month as a nonsmoker brought a new health benefit. Now I am looking forward to making five years free for the next big payoff.
