I do have to say...

I am so impressed with this site! With all the long term quitters who stick around to help us newbies ! You guys are the very fabric of this support system. Me, right now I'm a stitch in that fabric. My blood runs thick with helping others in any way possible, it always has. So it helps me the most in quitting to help others !

And to all the people here that are a few days, or weeks into this journey, please don't EVER let me catch up to you. I believe in you. I believe in me also. Thank you God (and Rainforest) for helping find the road to this quit forum.

When I started my quit, seeing people that were happy years into their quit really helped. I like helping as well. It keeps me grounded. I have a habit of losing long term quits due to being to cocky. I'm determined that's not going to happen again.

You are helping me just as much as i would be helping you.

I remember how difficult it was for me and if it weren't for this site and these people I know that I wouldn't be where I am. MQ created a great site where we all can quit our own way, talk about it, and have open opinions without having the fear of getting warned about it. I am glad to be here, hopefully helping, others and keeping myself accountable.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
