I noticed my ticker this morning and this is how many cigs I did not smoke since quitting.  And that is probably a low ball number. No wonder my skin looks so much better now that I am not puffing on those horrible things  endlessly and drawing the oxygen out of my body.

Our quit dates are similar, so I have to post to see my ticker to see if my numbers are that high....lol....it's amazing that we could actually smoke that many, and not reallize it.... In a little over 2 years, that is a staggering amount !

All you lurkers who are considering quitting....do some math...our numbers will be real simliar to yours...it's an addiction that we all must feed....it DEMANDS a certain amount to be satisfied.

Wow!.. I must have smoked about twice as much as you Mel....my numbers are off the chart! I smoked about 2 packs a day........

Just wow!

I smoked one pack for  30 years   :(  I went last year to get the new low dose CT of my lungs and all was well.  I think they are recommending that you get the test once a year.

233600 for 32 years at 20 a day....

379600 at 52 years and 20 a day...24 miles (39km for the Islanders) of smokes at 4 inches each....

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
