I saw him in Runfree's celebration thread! His profile says he quit today.

I just want to say I'm pretty pleased about that, not least because this board can use another Canuck.

Welcome back buddy.

I didn't know you were a Canduck. Well that explains a lot  :P

Thanks!

Nice of you to acknowledge me.

I was going to go it alone. I went to the WhyQuit.com site for education on quitting and soon realized that is not what I needed. It's not support I need either. Just the being with other quits, works for me!

Now, we'll see how it goes, (the quit). I don't mean if I will quit or not.

Oops! I see a few more posters in this thread too. I only read buMbLeB's post.

Hi everyone and thank you too!

missed this...

Welcome back Mike..

I see you were logged in this morning (12/27) so i assume you are still moving forward....well done!

I found it did help my quit by being involved in the conversations around here, but we all approach our quits different, so whatever works for you, just keep on doing it!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and anything else you may be celebrating , and at this time next year we can add a 1 year celebration to the list of parties to attend..  :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
