Sorry to hear it, Juan....where was the SOS?  And did smoking fix the problem?  And why not quit again, right now?

Surrender the Stripe.

It will be waiting for you next week.

HAD A BIG PROBLEM TODAY

There is no "problem" that smoking will fix. In fact, there is nothing at all that smoking will fix.

You know this.

Juan....I appreciate your honesty! I don't like it that you relapsed...neither do you!

I don't like the "quit date" thing....I don't want to miss you young man!

Aw juan,this saddens me buddy,

Get back here right away......

It took me 5 decades for me understand smoking didn't fix anything......

Your younger and smarter than me.....right.

Juan, don't you leave us and come back with a new quit date - you only had one smoke, so the new quit date is today, right?!

Juan,

We will not judge you, you will judge yourself. We are here to help you and assist you anyway we can. We are your friends who want nothing more than to help you quit smoking. If you fall off the horse, jump back on again and again until you break him ( the craving that is). Do not feel bad because while you were quit you did not smoke for 7 days and that is better than thousands of other people out there could do!!!!

Juan,

I am sorry to hear this, but not as sorry as you must be.   You quit for 7 days, don't post a new quit date.  Quit right now Juan, it will be so much easier on yourself if you do it now.

Juan my friend, You still believe in the cigarette, and that it offers you something.

Until this belief changes, you will continuously return to smoking to receive that "something"

The hardest thing is acknowledging that you have been wrong about your addiction, once you believe us instead of your inner junkie you will find greater success.

Anyway enough of what you already know, How are you feeling?  You mentioned a fight? I hope that you are ok my friend.

when you want to talk about quitting again, let us know

Sure buddy,

You are no different than me or anybody else here, we have all quit many times before.

And the fight, hope you kicked some butt to make it worth while to start over!!

I'm glad that you are ok.  I may be asleep later but I'm sure many of your friends in the States and nearer time zones will be around to listen.

take care and be safe.

So sorry to hear this Juan :(  I agree with what Jonny said to you.  You still believe the cigarette will do something for you.  How can we change that?  I want you to have success, we all do.  What can we do to help you get there?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
